DOOR COUNTY BASEBALL THEMED WEDDING | KIM & STEW!

Earlier this month we had the distinct honor of photographing Kim & Stew's wedding in Door County, and it is one that we have been dying to present to you! Kim and Stew just returned home from a honeymoon in the Bahamas, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome them back as Mr & Mrs with a huge preview of their wedding photos!! Kim and Stew are two of the most charming, laid-back, and fun-loving people we know! When it came to their wedding day they were non-stop smiles and an absolute JOY to photograph!! To be honest, it didn't really feel like we were "working" at all, but more like we were friends who played an important role in their big day.

Kim had two familiar faces helping prepare her hair & make-up as she transformed into a stunning bride. Tom Preston & Lee Ann Perrine also took care of her as Miss Wisconsin 2010 in the beauty department and, to no surprise, they did an Amazing job -- Kim was absolutely Striking!! With no exaggeration, Stew had the BEST reaction when he set eyes on his bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle of St. Joseph's Catholic Church on her Dad's arm!!! We are quite sure you will know exactly what we mean when your eyes come across the images below ;)

K&S not only brought their love of baseball to their Door County engagement session, but also to their wedding day which was complete with ticket-styled invitations, a jersey guest book, and Cracker Jack favors!! With help from Alliey of Sash & Bow, Kim & Stew infused Stone Harbor Resort with a touch of America's pastime, and lots of class. From purple uplighting & elegant chair covers to the incredible shores of Door County, Kim and Stew's wedding day was a gorgeous escape!

We are SO excited to have photographed not only Kim & Stew, but the entire cast of their friends & family!! From the bottom of our heart, thank you two for including us in your celebration!!!

PLAYING IN THE SNOW

Earlier this month after photographing Sara's beautiful snowy maternity session, we couldn't help but freshen up a bit to take advantage of the afternoon! We might secretly be missing our monthly Us Portraits, but whatever the case we had fun laughing in the snow together over a roll of film... Parker even joined us!! And now that everything has melted away, we are already planning our next silly little "us" session :) Love | K&B

JESSICA & BRYAN | GLAM GRAVES 601 MINNEAPOLIS WEDDING

Jessica & Bryan's love story goes all the way back to High School, where they met through classes and connected as friends based on their love for snowboarding. Fast forward to post-college when, after not speaking for 9 years, they got dinner together as friends to catch up. Instead of recapping where they spent the last near decade, they picked up in the present and chatted as if they had been friends since high school! After a lengthy dinner date, they both had that feeling. With absolute certainty, Jessica knew that she couldn't let this one get away. She was working at her Mom's flower shop at the time so, naturally, the best idea was to send him flowers at work! Except there wasn't anyone available to make the delivery, so she brought them over herself. From that delivery on, they each knew they had found the one! Jessie & Bryan's wedding day was filled with more passion and energy than words can possibly begin to describe. Their personalities are magnetic and the way they love each other so comfortably, so effortlessly, speaks volumes. They dreamed up a glamorous wedding day that fit them perfectly! With striking lighting, abundant flowers by Jessie's Mom (owner of Lexington Floral), and just the right amount of flashy sparkle, they transformed Graves 601 in downtown Minneapolis into a magical lounge experience for all of their guests!

Jessica & Bryan's first look before their Friday evening ceremony was very emotional! Their nervous anticipation of the day seemed to be much more at ease once they were in each other's arms :)

Are Jessie's flowers not the most gorgeous thing you have ever seen!! Oh my goodness, we were completely blown away! And how beautiful are these two together!

Their ceremony, officiated by Jessica's step-Mom, was filled with smiles and laughter as Jodi recalled the story of their relationship perfectly!

J&B surrounded themselves with an awesome bridal party - we had SO much fun with all of them!

Jessica, you radiate beauty! And Bryan, you look quite dapper yourself ;)

Everyone loved J&B's sweets bar & appetizer style cocktail reception! So many options!

Thank you so much for the distinct honor of being part of your wedding day, Jessica & Bryan!! We really felt like we were part of your celebration and are so grateful for the way that the two of you and your awesome families/friends welcomed us with open arms. We are so happy for the two of you and know that you have a lifetime of fun, laughter, and adventure ahead of you!!
