On what must felt like the absolute perfect fall day, Emily & Dave visited us in Wausau for their engagement session! We were so lucky to have beautiful fall color and amazing light to accompany their non-stop adorable glances and laughter! These two have that kind of chemistry that is just effortless. Dave can make Emily smile with the tiniest of whispers, and her stunning blue eyes seemed to scream "HAPPINESS"!! We cannot even wait for E&D's wedding next June! WISCONSIN FILM ANNIVERSARY PORTRAITS AT GRANDMA'S! | AMANDA & ANTHONY

Where do we even begin?? We cannot say enough about these two!! Amanda & Anthony were married last September in Wausau (at the same place as us, woot!). We had the honor of not only photographing their beautiful day at the Great Hall, but also making great friends in the process. :) Recently we were invited to Amanda's Grandma's beautiful home to spend some time walking the property and taking pictures of A&A! After celebrating their anniversary with a trip to Greece & Paris they celebrated again with the two of us, our cameras, and some delicious cake. And you guessed it, champagne may have been involved! We honestly couldn't think of a better way to spend a perfect fall Sunday than laughing and chatting with these two! Amanda & Anthony are full of adventure, and we enjoyed every minute of exploring the land & creating these fun images with them! Love | K&B

Two weeks ago Maddox and his parents came to visit us at our studio, and he brought along quite the amount of energy! Maddox was absolutely adorable and his curious eyes were so attentive to everything going on around him. It is no secret that we are wonderful friends with (and huge fans of) the lovely lady behind A.Styled Event! Anna is one of the most genuine, caring, and optimistic people we have ever met and she also happens to have a ton of creativity tucked in her pocket! After working with Anna on our styled waffle wedding shoot this summer, we found ourselves completely blown away by her passion and heartfelt attention to every. single. detail!! Anna brings a vision to life by focusing on the darling DIY elements that emphasize personality -- isn't that what every bride's goal is, anyways? Making your wedding day YOURS by breathing personality into it! Well, aside from marrying the one you love of course ;) When we look back at our beautiful & elegant 2009 wedding, had we chatted with Anna beforehand chances are that our day would have been infused with a bit more detail that literally screamed "Butch and Kelsy's Wedding!!" And that is Anna's goal & hope for each newly engaged couple she works with: to celebrate your marriage surrounded by your closest friends & family with a day that truly resembles the two of you as a couple.

This lady has a spectacular talent and we are thrilled to see where it takes her in the wedding industry!! And beyond that, we are absolutely honored (and ridiculously giddy) to call her one of our best friends!!

MINNESOTA GOLF CLUB WEDDING | KAYLA & ALEX

Kayla and Alex are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet! Their sincerity and generosity are straight from the heart, and we feel truly lucky to have photographed their love story. Kayla & Alex put 100% of themselves into their wedding day! From the birch tree centerpieces that Alex sought out & cut himself to the adorable card box and K&A monogram, their wedding day reflected their personalities perfectly with a celebration that was warm, happy, inviting, and so fun :) The love these two share is absolutely radiant and when you see them together it's SO easy to picture them hand in hand giving each other the same I-love-you looks in 50 years :) They light each other up, and quite honestly, they light us up too! After you have spent time with Kayla & Alex it makes you want to grab the hand of your loved one or best friend and never let go. We just absolutely adore these two :)
