One of our very favorite things about portrait photography is seeing our clients families grow. We have had the absolute pleasure of photographing Kristin & Kris from their very first maternity session before their son Jax was born, followed by a few family sessions before their second baby boy, Blake’s newborn session earlier this year. Aside from being such a beautiful family on the inside and out, one thing we love is how well our aesthetic aligns with Kristin and Kris’. Their stunning home is such a dreamy space to capture their love in, and we have loved seeing their handsome boys grow up! Wausau Newborn Portraits | Peri

Heidi and Maxx just had their first baby girl, little miss Peri, and we were overjoyed to spend the morning capturing their little lady! After Kristin & Kris’ maternity session last fall, we couldn’t want for the arrival of their baby boy. Jax was one week old the day of his newborn portraits, and we loved our time capturing all of the love filling the Ferguson’s home.

WAUSAU NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY | BABY EMMETT RYAN

When we arrived to Baby Emmett's house on his 18th day of life, a smile crept over our faces and it was stuck there for several hours after his session. :) Born three weeks early at 5 pounds 12 ounces, Emmett is an adorable little peanut with lots & lots of blonde hair! 

We are lucky to count his Mom & Dad, Nicole & Eric, as great friends of ours, and we were so excited to meet their little sweetheart!! In the months leading up to Emmett Ryan's arrival, the four of us chatted about all things life, nursery planning, pregnancy, parenthood, and BABY, so we couldn't wait to see them in their new role as parents for the first time!

With ease and grace, Nicole & Eric bathed baby Emmett as soon as we arrived, and then we dove into their session. From Emmett's darling nursery to Nicole & Eric's bedroom, light was pouring in around the three of them as they loved on one another. We absolutely adore the time we were able to spend with this sweet family and hope they will look back on and cherish these images for countless years to come!!

It brings us SO much joy to share with you... Little Miss Penelope Mae!! We are so lucky to call this adorable family of four dear friends of ours. If you've peeked at the portraits section of our site before, chances are you've been able to see Sara & Brian's sweet family grow over the last few years!! From Sara's maternity session to now "big brother" Lennon's newborn photos & a few family portraits along the way, we've had so much fun with each session and love creating memories & laughing together in between :) Penelope is already more blessed than she could possibly know! But you won't need to merely take our word for it... we're entirely positive that the love in this family overwhelmingly shines through!!
