Sometimes it's just funny how the calendar works itself out. We had the weekend off for our very first wedding anniversary and we celebrated in Door County with a surprisingly delicious layer of cake ;) Last year our 2nd anniversary fell mid-week, and (oddly enough) the weekend before AND the weekend after, we photographed awesome weddings at our very own reception venue, The Great Hall on ARTSblock! What a perfect way to celebrate with a little walk down memory lane! This year it worked out that we also had our anniversary weekend off, so we packed our bags & puppy Parker and headed up to Bayfield to do one of our very favorite things: escape into the Northwoods of WI! We were so excited that Parker got to come and had the perfect fall weekend to enjoy as a little McCartney family!! From apple picking and pottery hunting to finding Bayfield's cutest coffee shop and exploring the adorable hippie town of Cornucopia, we lived large, slowed down, and enjoyed every ounce of it :) Here's a little peek at our ridiculous smiling faces as we celebrate three years of fun, belly-aching laughter, and so much love!!
