Elizabeth & Chad planned the wedding of a lifetime. With a rustic vintage theme, they thoughtfully planned every element of their DIY wedding. From countless window panes and doors to their family's barn boards and milk bottles from the bride's Dad's personal collection, it's clear that their wedding was a labor of love that came together seamlessly! They chose the Rothschild Pavilion as their canvas and splashed it with hues of orange & green, endless amazing appetizers from the Back When Cafe, and plenty of wine & cheese for their guests to enjoy all night long! Not to mention, gorgeous florals by Design Lab.

Being a part of this day was such a privilege and an absolute BLAST! Elizabeth & Chad have such a fun relationship and we immediately felt like we were photographing friends. Surrounded by nearly 300 of their friends & family, they were completely beaming all day long!!

Thank you so much for inviting us into your celebration, Elizabeth & Chad! We know the two of you have a lifetime of laughter, love, and fun ahead of you.

WAUSAU BARN WEDDING | JEN & ROB!

Jen & Rob's wedding celebration was filled with thoughtful gestures & talents from friends and family to make their dream day come true. :) Well, one part of it at least! We photographed the first day of of Jen & Rob's 2-part wedding weekend – the day they promised their love to one another atop Rib Mountain (the same place where Rob proposed AND where we captured their wintery engagement session)!

After a beautiful ceremony covered in blue skies, Jen & Rob hopped into a hot red corvette and drove off to a perfectly styled private barn celebration just miles away. We were seriously blown away by the gem of a barn where we had the pleasure of capturing Jen & Rob mingling, laughing, and cheersing with their family! With decor & wooden elements created by Jen's parents and meticulous styling by Jenna A Events, they treated their closest loved ones to a delicious meal and great company :)

Jen & Rob are such a radiant, happy couple! It's honestly quite hard to imagine the two of them NOT smiling – Jen especially!! Her smile & laughter is 10000% contagious, and Rob looks at her with the most loving eyes. We have no doubt that the second half of Jen & Rob's Labor Day wedding festivities were just as joyful, and feel truly lucky to have documented this day!!

ROTHSCHILD PAVILION WEDDING | KATIE & KEVIN ON FILM

Welcoming, HAPPY, optimistic, easy-going, and genuine. Katie & Kevin are one of the most authentic couples we have had the honor of photographing!! Throughout their entire planning process, they wanted to create an experience for their guests that 110% reflected them and their relationship. With the help of friends & family members near & far, they designed, created, styled & assembled their dream wedding day (and we have no doubt that they had an absolute blast doing so!). Whether that involved traveling to a little farm to purchase vintage doors (and being invited in to chat & hear about the sweet woman's life experiences) or antiquing to find crates for their sweets table, they definitely dove in head first to wedding planning and created a million memories along the way. If you ask us, that's them as a couple. Together they love adventures, beer tasting, and escaping away to Lake Superior for hikes and real moments. Katie & Kevin share a happiness that we wish upon everyone we know!! We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for inviting us into their celebration. :)

WISCONSIN WAFFLE WEDDING | EDITORIAL SHOOT WITH A.STYLED EVENT & EVOLUTIONS IN DESIGN

With permanent smiles written across our faces, last week we posted a little preview of our excitement over a sweetly styled shoot with Anna of A.Styled Event. The inspiration behind this intimate brunch wedding came about earlier this year as Anna & I chatted through our computers on a snowy morning, surely in our pajamas and with coffee in hand. Apparently we were hungry and ready for wedding season to begin, as we were dreaming of sweet details and hints of maple syrup! ;) After months of sharing ideas back & forth like giddy schoolgirls, our inspiration shoot came to with help from an incredible team of WI wedding pros! Taylor Rae created the most perfect place cards, menus and calligraphy for the invitations, which were designed by Anna's husband Paul! Randy of Evolutions in Design completely blew us away with a truly stunning floral centerpiece, bouquet & bout. Jaxie shared her sweet talent, as our bride wore a custom designed birdcage veil and hair piece. Anna brought this shoot to life and created more elements than we can possibly begin to describe -- a bunting cake topper & handmade polka dotted napkins, oversized pillows, gold touches & more!!!

So, here you have it. A beautiful field setting. The perfect mix of cozy and lovely. A casual and romantic yet inviting picnic style celebration. Hints of fresh fruit & sweet treats. An adorable bride & groom. We hope that brides are able to find a bit of inspiration from the details and ideas that Anna poured into our brunch wedding! A huge thank you to all of the incredible vendors & friends who brought this shoot to life!! We had a absolute blast photographing every piece of it.  For us, the icing on the cake was having our waffle wedding featured the lovely Southern Weddings Blog!

FEATURED ON SOUTHERN WEDDINGS | WAFFLE BRUNCH INSPIRATION EDITORIAL SHOOT

Oh my goodness!!! Where do we even begin in sharing our excitement about this inspiration shoot with you?! Earlier this year on a very chilly winter day, Anna of A.Styled Event and I were chatting and dreaming up gold, peach & coral loveliness... and before we knew it, a styled shoot was in the making! Not a bad way to spend a snowy morning working from home in your PJ's, if you ask us ;) As we let our minds and hearts explore all of the directions this shoot could go, we knew a few things to be true: we wanted to work with an awesome creative team to bring this shoot to life, sweet treats & pretty florals were a huge must, and it needed to be something different. With the help of so many incredible talents, we photographed a lovely waffle wedding in early June amidst happy dances and squeals of excitement!! A HUGE thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Randy from Evolutions in Design for his ridiculously awesome talent (seriously, how amazing are these florals!!), Jaxie for sharing one of her darling custom made birdcage veils, and Taylor Rae whose calligraphy brought so much charm!!

Anna & her husband Paul not only planned this shoot's location & each one of the stunning details (and did we mention that Paul designed the paper goods?!) -- but they also transformed themselves into "bride" and "groom" once again :) It is no secret that they are two of our very favorite subjects to photograph, aside from Parker of course ;)
