Grain Exchange Fall Milwaukee Wedding | Jenny & Skyler

Before their wedding day, Jenny & Skyler made a trip up to visit us at our studio and we had the best time chatting all things wedding with them!! They have such great energy, and we loved the mindset they have surrounding their wedding. In addition to their love and marriage, the two biggest focuses of their planning were family and food – our kind of people! Together, they planned a day that loved one every one of their guests and treated everyone to a beautiful & delicious celebration at the Grain Exchange.

Jenny and Skyler also incorporated special touches throughout their wedding day –– Jenny’s mom was her Matron of Honor, and Skyler honored his Filipino heritage by wearing a traditional Hawaiian “Maile lei” draped over his shoulders. Following their heartfelt ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while Jenny and Skyler had portraits with their loved ones. Guests were then invited back into the reception space which had been meticulously transformed into a classic celebration with soft florals and the glow of countless candles! The room was soon filled with laughter, delicious food coming out course after course, and so many sweet moments shared between Jenny and Skyler!

We are so thankful to have been part of this wonderful couple’s celebration and absolutely loved getting to know them and their families!

Grand Theater Wausau Wedding | Kate & John

If there’s one thing we will forever think of when reminiscing about Kate & John’s wedding day, it is their ENERGY! These two high school sweethearts have the most contagious zest for life, and everyone who knows them would wholeheartedly agree that their love is the perfect example of what a committed, loving relationship should look like. After photographing their engagement session last fall, we already couldn’t wait for their July wedding at the Grand Theater in downtown Wausau, WI. Fun fact: this is also where we had our wedding reception (back in 2009!), so having weddings there is always extra special for us. Combine that with a gorgeous day & a perfect sunset, and you have two very happy McCartneys!

Private Estate Milwaukee Wedding | Micaela & Patrick

Walking around Micaela’s family’s estate before their wedding started was like walking into a wedding inspiration dream. It was almost as if the property was designed with Micaela & Patrick’s wedding in mind. Let’s start with the ceremony site, where guests were seated along a pond below an elevated area for M+P to be married with their bridal party beside them.

Following the ceremony, guests were escorted over a stone bridge to an intimate garden nestled among old twisting whimsical trees with bistro tables surrounding a water fountain statue. Not to mention the gorgeous nearby rock pergola draped in hydrangea vines and their beautiful greens and delicate white blooms. Finally, guests were welcomed to the grandest sailcloth tent reception we have ever seen. Situated in the middle of the property’s backyard, the tent’s ceiling was draped in billowing white fabric with a king’s table surrounded by guest tables – all overflowing with beautiful arrangements by Impressions by Esther featuring pops of pink set atop elegant blue and white linens.

So clean, so lovely, and the perfect space for all of Micaela and Patrick’s loved ones to celebrate with them! After dinner the band kicked off the evening and their dance floor was immediately packed — the perfect ending to a wedding day we will not soon forget. Laughter, two of the most genuinely kind and welcoming people we have met, and the feeling that everyone at the wedding truly was part of one big family — this is the way we will remember Micaela and Patrick’s wedding celebration! :)

Villa Terrace Rehearsal Dinner | Micaela & Pat

Guests were greeted with champagne upon arriving to the historic Villa Terrace Museum in Milwaukee for Micaela and Patrick’s rehearsal dinner. As Micaela and Pat joined their guests on the terrace they enjoyed passed hors d'oeuvres as well as live music by a cellist and an oboist. Micaela and Pat’s loved ones took in one of the best views in Milwaukee before heading indoors for dinner and toasts -- the perfect way to kick off a weekend of celebrating!

Horseshoe Bay Golf Club Wedding | Andrea & Dan

Andrea & Dan, their wedding party, family, and all of their guests, started our 2019 wedding season with SO much energy! Bridesmaids were dancing in the living room of their getting ready cottage at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Egg Harbor, while the groom and his men suited up in the next cottage over and shared a cheers. We can’t imagine a better start to our year than capturing a beautiful day filled with so many wonderful moments on film for the two of them. Horseshoe Bay Golf Club is one of the most picturesque wedding venues in Door County and it was the perfect backdrop for Andrea & Dan to say their ‘I Do’s’. After their first dance, guests were invited to join Andrea & Dan on the balcony for a grand fireworks display over the bay – the most romantic ending to their beautiful Door County wedding!
