Sentry World Wedding | Bria & Aaron

Bria & Aaron smiled and laughed throughout their entire wedding day. And honestly, it seems as though this is how these two approach every day! Their warmth and contagious happiness filled the room, and the honor of photographing their wedding day & getting to know their family and friends was a blessing.

Bria was the 6th generation of her family to be married at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids! To say their ceremony was laced with an extra layer of meaning would be an understatement.  Sentry World in Stevens Point made for an architectural & luminous canvas for their getting ready moments & reception, and we couldn't stop taking pictures!! Evolutions in Design created soft & elegant centerpieces as well as stunning bouquets with whites, greens and just a hint of pink. Gorgeous light was all around, and how many couples get to say they walked through a field of flowers at sunset on their wedding day??

Just after the first dances, guests were escorted outside where they formed a tunnel of sparklers for Bria & Aaron to run through hand-in-hand to get the celebration started! Can we please rewind time to this perfect day? :)

Love, Kelsy & Butch

Bennett Barn Wisconsin Wedding | Nikki & Bret

Being around Nikki & Bret is refreshing. They are authentic and genuine, and they brought those qualities and more to their Bennet Barn wedding in Watertown, Wisconsin. An outdoor ceremony with blankets atop hay bails, amber vintage bottles holding flowers as center pieces, and handmade signs everywhere you turned letting you know that everything around you came from the hearts of Nikki & Bret.

The beautiful property at Bennet Barn created a picture-perfect scene for all of their guests to enjoy. Beautiful trees casting shade in the summer sun where guests mingled, grassy areas filled with a fleet of bean bag toss games, the barn as the backdrop filled to the brim with the most romantic rows of candle-lit dining tables and endless decorations with Nikki & Bret's style written all over them!

We had Nikki & Bret's wedding date circled on our calendar for quite sometime and couldn't wait for it to arrive. We find ourselves revisiting the photos from this joyful day over and over again and are beyond excited to share their wedding day with all of you :)

Nikki & Bret, thank you for inviting us into your lives to document such an important day!

Love,

Kelsy & Butch

Watermark at Shully's Guam-Inspired Wedding | Kanoe & Mike

Kanoe was raised in Guam and moved to America to attend college. Her and Mike’s adorable love story began when they met online. Kanoe's trick for making an impression on their first date was walking directly into a pole! Actually it was a total accident, but she obviously caught Mike’s eye since they made it to date #2 despite Kanoe's little incident on date #1, which then of course became a running joke throughout the rest of their relationship!).

One of the things that made Kanoe and Mike's wedding so special is the way they incorporated several elements of Kanoe’s heritage into the day. Cherished family members greeted each of their guests with shell Leis from Guam at the ceremony, guests went home with hand carved 'Legend of the Two Lovers' favors, and they presented their families with traditional Leis as part of their ceremony. Mike’s family was represented as well with jars of honey made by Mike’s mom at each guest’s place setting. Kanoe’s attention to detail was never ending, and their incredible planner, Ashely from Midwestern Bride, styled each thoughtful display perfectly. There was a lemonade & macaroon station for guests to enjoy upon arrival, handmade programs which served as fans with built-in tissue holders, a tiered card box made by the bride’s mom and mirror signage also hand-lettered by the bride’s mom. Cocktail table centerpieces were pictures of Kanoe & Mike’s sweet bulldog, Tootsie! And not to mention a delicious dessert display including sweet treats made with Kanoe & Mike’s favorite family recipes and guilty pleasures, such as Aunt Katie’s Cherry Cheesecake and Noe’s Animal Cookie Delight!

From start to finish, this wedding was truly a reflection of Kanoe & Mike! It was so refreshing seeing the amount of thought that was put into each moment of their celebration. Their wedding day even ended with a light rain shower that brought about the most beautiful double rainbow. We happened to notice it before first dances were set to begin, and had to sneak the newlyweds out for a few portraits. Little did we know, rainbows are Kanoe’s ‘thing’ - they are especially common in Guam, and she is overjoyed every time she sees one here in the US. Kanoe gushed, cried, and couldn't believe her and Mike were blessed with a rainbow on their special day. It was the most beautiful sight seeing them dance together with their venue and a beautiful rainbow behind them, and we couldn't be more grateful to have captured such a special celebration!!

Horseshoe Bay Beach Club Wedding | Angie & Mike

A wedding at the Horseshoe Bay Beach Club in Door County is among the most gorgeous places to get married in Wisconsin. A private club all to yourself with the sun dipping into the bay while you cheers the night away with your closest family & friends. Angie & Mike had just that & more on their beautiful May wedding day! Door County Trolley provided transportation for all of their guests to and from the Beach House and Blossoms Flower House complimented the ceremony & reception with beautiful greens & whites. Door County Event Planners of course planned the day to perfection and we aren't sure how they did it, but topped it all off with an absolutely stunning Door County sunset!
