CENTRAL WISCONSIN ENGAGEMENT SESSION | ASCHLEY & JEFF ON FILM

As we chatted back & forth bouncing around engagement session ideas with Aschley & Jeff, they mentioned Jeff's parents' beautiful home in Marshfield. And the minute they said land, trees & lots of window, we were SOLD!! When we arrived we were greeted by three absolutely adorable puppies, racing towards us at full puppy speed, and they brought so much cute energy to Aschley & Jeff's session! We had so much fun spending the afternoon with these two and absolutely cannot WAIT for their Wausau wedding in August!!

PS - you would never know it by how cozy they look in these images, but Aschley & Jeff mark the very first couple who we've had participate in the Polar Bear Plunge the MORNING of their session!! ;)

WINTER ENGAGEMENT SESSION | BECKY & JOE

The first few photos we captured during this winter engagement session are among the first four images below, which serves as all the proof one could possibly need to know one thing to be true: BECKY + JOE = ADORABLE + SO HAPPY!!! We seriously cannot get over these two - every image with their faces in it brings the biggest smile to our faces :) If there is one more thing we know to be true, it is that happiness is completely contagious! And from the moment Becky & Joe stepped into this gorgeous snowy field with us, their energy & anticipation brought so much excitement to their session! These two just bring out the light in each other, and we feel so lucky to have captured it on one of the most beautiful snowy days in January!! We will be counting down the days until their wedding in the Twin Cities -- October happens to be our favorite month of all the months, and photographing Becky & Joe's wedding will be an absolute highlight!

WISCONSIN WINTER ENGAGEMENT | JAMIE & SETH

One of our very favorite ways to spend snowy days is by photographing a lovely Wisconsin winter engagement session!! There's just something about the bright white snow and crisp warm light that makes us smile from ear to ear, especially when we get to take pictures of a ridiculously adorable and wonderfully chill couple like Jamie & Seth!! After a little ice skating in the center of Wausau's adorable downtown, we headed to Jamie & Seth's castle (we mean house) for a few photos with their sweet puppy Meeko (who we fell in love with immediately -- possibly because he reminded us of someone? ;) Jamie & Seth happen to be our neighbors (less than a block away!) and they moved in within a week of when we did, so we're pretty sure that the four of us were meant to be friends :) And it goes without saying that we cannot WAIT to be a part of their wedding day this coming June!! Jamie is super creative, and together they've been crafting & creating so many awesome pieces to make their wedding day completely unique to the two of them - imagine paper flowers galore and so much style we cannot wait to capture it all in just a few short months!!!

We have to mention that the night before Jamie & Seth's session, she whipped up this dapper little bow tie for Meeko!! Little does she know, we might need to hire her to create one for Parker as well ;)

WINTER ENGAGEMENT SESSION! | AMANDA & TYLER

What's better than a winter engagement session in the snow? Well, a session that involves one of the most awesome, hilarious, adorable & fun couples on the planet of course!! Tyler is my (Kelsy's) cousin, and we were lucky enough to see pretty much the entire process of these two falling in love! It started YEARS ago and even then it was so clear that they both had massive crushes on each other, whether they admitted it or not! ;) Fast forward to that random weekday evening when Tyler proposed and she said yes, and here we are! We are SO excited for the two of them and were looking forward to their engagement session for weeks! Just a couple weeks ago they visited us in Wausau and despite a bit of chilly weather (read: it was COLD!) we had a great time working our way through a wintery scene that looked like it was straight out of a movie! You might recognize Amanda & Tyler from a Tuscan Styled shoot a couple years back where they dressed up as our "bride & groom" - they were adorably in love then and were even cuter together this time around (which we didn't think was possible)! And this time, it's real ;) We're pumped we were able to chime in to photograph their engagement session, and can't wait to tear up their dance floor later this year as their wedding guests!!!

SNOWY WISCONSIN ENGAGEMENT | NICOLE & ANDREW

Just three days after Christmas, the snow was slowly floating down from the sky and the carpet of white couldn't have been more beautiful! We really couldn't have been blessed with a more PERFECT day for Nicole & Andrew's engagement session!! We had our own quiet little piece of the woods and had entirely too much fun laughing & playing in the snow with these two :) They were immediately comfortable in front of our cameras, and it somehow felt like we had known N&A for years when really it was a matter of minutes! We probably could have photographed Nicole & Andrew's snowy WI engagement session all day long and cannot even wait to be a part of their wedding this October in one of our favorite parts of WI -- Door County!! YAY!! :) Love | K&B
