MICHELLE & RYAN | WISCONSIN FALL ENGAGEMENT

From the moment we arrived to Ryan's parents stunning property just outside of Wausau, these two (& both of their families!) invited us into their home and made us feel so welcomed! Michelle & Ryan lucked out with what was truly the most PERFECT fall day (yes, we've been blessed with a few of those!). Michelle is a touch soft spoken, so sincere & thoughtful (not to mention beautiful!!), and Ryan is just someone who you can tell is an absolute sweetheart! They are planning a wedding next September at the Jefferson Street Inn and we cannot wait to see all of the ideas they've mentioned come to life with the help of A.Styled Event!! Love | K&B

WISCONSIN ENGAGEMENT ON THE FARM | KATIE & KEVIN

After several chats and a date at our favorite restaurant in Wausau, we had no doubt that Katie & Kevin were a couple we would be lucky to photograph :) They are passionate, authentic, and easy to fall in love with! When it came time for their engagement session, the sincere details they planned to work into their photos warmed our hearts! As we arrived to Katie's grandparents' farm near Iola we started to do a little happy dance in our car as we got a glimpse of the classic barn and old towering trees, but it wasn't until we really got into the session that we discovered all the charm of the land :) We had a picnic in a beautiful field with the sun dipping below the trees, complete with a framed photograph of Katie's grandparents, a (delicious) rhubarb pie from her Grandpa's favorite bakery, and her Grandma's vintage bowl filled with cherries :) Assuring that her Grandparents were still a part of her wedding excitement, she also wore the earrings her Grandmother donned on their wedding day as well as her Grandfather's belt! We were absolutely loving all of the thought these two put into their engagement photos ~ it is so fitting for the sweet personalities of Katie and Kevin!!

After a cute little picnic, the four of us hiked the property line until we found a rustic little bridge, and we happened to cross paths with a massive snapper turtle!! Katie was quick to put her ring on its shell for a photo, and we had to remind Butch that there was an engagement session going on and he would need to stop photographing the turtle! ;)

The session ended at a picnic table next to Katie's grandparents' home with a slice of rhubarb pie for each of us! We are SO excited to have spent such a perfect evening with one of the sweetest couples and cannot wait for their wedding day next March! :)

CHERYL & STEVE | ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT HOME :)

After the first conversation we had with Steve & Cheryl, we knew that we were very lucky to be a part of their engagement & wedding celebration! They invited us over to one of their homes for engagement photos earlier this month and, we kid you not, just as we pulled into their driveway, it started to rain!! After a short wait, the rain eased and we were able to slide right into their session :) All of their stunning landscaping & flowers seemed even more vibrant after a few raindrops, and we had fun working our way around the property for pictures - the possibilities were endless!!! From chatting about our shared love of wine & Door County to the way the two of them interacted so naturally in front of our cameras, and how Steve made Cheryl's face light up with just a few words, we had the best time creating their engagement photos! Thank you so much for having us, Steve & Cheryl!! We cannot wait to be a part of your intimate wedding day next month! :)

OLD FASHIONED WAUSAU ENGAGEMENT | LESLEY & JASON

Where do we even begin with these two? Lesley & Jason are SO much fun!! Their energy and quirky personalities are completely contagious, and it is impossible to not have a blast right along with them. :) We combined ideas when it came time to plan for their engagement photos, but the style and spunk they brought to this session is what makes these moments sing! We did not want this session to end and are so thankful that their wedding is only 10 days away!! Love | K&B

ADORABLE WOODSY WAUSAU ENGAGEMENT | LAUREN & CAMERON

Joyful, adorable & contagious. These are the first 3 words that come to mind when we think about Lauren & Cameron :) These two wear their emotions right on their faces, and it is impossible not to smile when you're around them!! Lauren is from Green Bay, Cameron is from Chicago, and they met 4 years ago while attending Wisconsin Lutheran College. Lauren's roommate was dating someone on the University soccer team, so she joined her to watch the boys practice and noticed a certain guy on the team with lime green shoes. With Lauren's curiosity at its peak, one thing lead to another and L&C were set up on a blind date. Four years later... they were still dating! Since their 4 year anniversary had just passed Lauren figured that if it didn't happen then, Cameron must not be proposing anytime soon. After the anniversary, to Lauren's surprise, Cameron's proposal came right around Thanksgiving weekend. His plans included cooking Lauren dinner and surprising her with a custom wine label... and of course she said yes!

One of the cutest tidbits about these two is that Lauren is a Packer fan and Cameron is a huge fan of their rivals, the Chicago Bears. When we asked Lauren how much of a Packer fan she is, she responded with a stone-cold serious "I bleed green & gold." Cameron is just as intense in cheering for his Chicago Bears, so football season can be an interesting time for the two of them! We love that they brought this competitive spirit to their engagement session and had so much fun working it into their engagement photos! L&C are planning a Milwaukee wedding this August and we are SO excited to be a part of their day!!
