WOODSY WAUSAU ENGAGEMENT | JODI & BRENT!

We are SOOOO excited to share Jodi & Brent’s engagement session with you today!!! If you could only see how adorable these two are together in real life, you’d have sore cheeks from smiling with/at them non-stop! :D At least, that’s how we felt after spending an evening with them in the woods! Jodi & Brent are fantastic photographers, and that made us even more excited/nervous for their session – but at the same time, we knew that they truly value photography and we had an absolute blast creating these photographs with them! We adore the two of them and feel very lucky to know them not only as peers in our industry, but as friends too :)

Jodi & Brent are getting married this September in Wausau and we cannot WAIT to be a part of their day!! Thank you two for such an awesome session – you were up for absolutely anything, and we hope you love these images!!

 Andy & Eric invited us to Chicago for their engagement session two weeks ago, and it was so cute watching them fall into each other’s arms then burst out into smiles & laughter the entire time!! We met in Lincoln Park where the trees were freshly blooming and it was green & vibrant in every direction – we truly couldn’t have created a better place for their session if we tried! :)

Thank you two so much for having us – we cannot wait to be a part of your wedding day at the Osthoff Resort in just three months!!

This session is extra meaningful to the two of us for SO many reasons!! We just escaped to wine country with family and while we were there, we had the chance to photograph Stevi & her boyfriend Charles. You may have already seen the resemblance and if you had a feeling that Stevi might be related to Butch, you guessed right – she’s his sister! :) It’s no secret that we LOVE everything California and everything wine. Put them together along with our favorite couple, great company, dreamy romantic light, and a house in the middle of a vineyard, and we’re head over heels! One evening, we took a break from vacationing to weave through vineyards and explore beautiful hillsides at sunset with Stevi & Charles. How adorable are they together!!

Stevi & Charles, we’re so happy that we were able to create these images with you and we can’t wait to visit you again soon! :)

LAKESIDE ENGAGEMENT SESSION | STACEY & MAX ON FILM

Stacey & Max invited us to Stacey’s parents’ absolutely beautiful and especially cozy cottage in western WI for their engagement session! The cottage is perfectly surrounded by towering pines and is RIGHT on the lake, which had us excited from the moment we arrived. We couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect place to photograph the two of them!! Stacey & Max are naturally super cute together, and it was fun to spend time with another couple who works side by side just like we do — they’re both music/theater teachers! We can’t wait to visit this exact spot in just three months to document Stacey & Max’s lakeside wedding celebration :)

As we chatted back & forth bouncing around engagement session ideas with Aschley & Jeff, they mentioned Jeff’s parents’ beautiful home in Marshfield. And the minute they said land, trees & lots of window, we were SOLD!! When we arrived we were greeted by three absolutely adorable puppies, racing towards us at full puppy speed, and they brought so much cute energy to Aschley & Jeff’s session! We had so much fun spending the afternoon with these two and absolutely cannot WAIT for their Wausau wedding in August!!

PS – you would never know it by how cozy they look in these images, but Aschley & Jeff mark the very first couple who we’ve had participate in the Polar Bear Plunge the MORNING of their session!! ;)
